Discussing with the Eagle Nation Online staff, Mayor David Bristol provides input on Project Tomahawk and future prospects for Prosper. Bristol was elected in 2022. "It is ironic that we're using a Google Meets, which is a data center utilization, to have this discussion about a data center, which is actually symbolic of many of the hundreds and hundreds of responses that I got to the idea of a data center," Mayor David Bristol said. "What's interesting is that many people decided to write me, and they would lay out all the negative things that are associated with the data center, but they used, at a minimum, Google to do searches. So it was very ironic that the very people who were arguing against it were using data centers to promote their particular point of view."

Before the game Prosper was ranked No. 6 prior to and after their 54-31 win over Dallas Jesuit. "Offensively, I think we did a lot of good things as well." offensive coordinator, coach Travis Wilson said. "To have this long run into the playoffs, we're going to have to tighten up with the penalties and the alignment things."
Sports
As they drill, two sophomore wrestlers prepare for their shot. Both athletes have competed since middle school. "I feel like I am prepared," sophomore Braden Miles said. "I'll get my shot for varsity this year."
As they pose for a picture at McKinney stadium, the Prosper running backs stand next to their position Coach Casey. Before the game against McKinney the Prosper Eagles were ranked 15th in Texas overall. "I was able to do my assignment in the second half," starting running back Hudson Bowman said. "I'm still going to be pushing forward the best I can."
As they wait for the call from the referee, seniors Brayden Anderson, Kyree Pettis and Chris Hatch join the huddle. They stopped Allen short on a quarterback sneak in the second quarter. In the previous year, Prosper and Allen came to a close call for the win, losing by a point.

As the end of the 'Buck the Broncos' pep rally nears, senior Katie Bergh and junior Roger Mendes Fares throw their hands in the air. This pep rally was before the Prosper football game on Oct. 22 against McKinney Boyd. The game resulted in a Prosper win with a score of 64-7.
Entertainment
Put together in Canva, junior Michelle Ayala and senior Kate Duncan taste-tested cookies from different local spots around Prosper to find their favorite. They compared each cookie and decided which one stood out the most. “Crumbl was my favorite overall,” Ayala said. “It was fun trying cookies from different places and seeing which one we liked best.”
Through a image created with Canva, the unique style of the 2026 VMAs is presented. Snoop Dogg is front and center, as he was the host, and silver Moon Person awards lined up behind him.
